About the Role
Working alongside experienced site engineers and the Technical Manager, you will be hands-on from day one, supporting the monitoring, operation, and maintenance of on-site steam boilers and associated equipment. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on-site, gaining practical, hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will grow as you progress and will include supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding on mechanical and electrical plant, assisting with dismantling and reassembly of steam boilers during annual inspections, maintaining accurate log books and documentation, and working safely in compliance with all Health & Safety policies. You will actively participate in regular training and development reviews to track your progress and take on increasing levels of responsibility throughout years 2 and 3 of the apprenticeship. This is a 4-year apprenticeship starting Wednesday 1 July 2026.

Qualifications
GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in:
- Any subject (two passes required)
- English
- Mathematics

About You
This is a physically demanding role involving some heavy lifting, working at height, and in confined spaces. Full training and support will be provided. Candidates will need to hold a driving licence or be working towards obtaining one due to regional travel requirements.
