Salary
Up to £48,734.40 per annum plus Veolia benefits
+ £0.50 per hour HGV licence bonus
Overtime paid at 1.25x rate
Sundays paid at double rate
Bank Holiday working paid at double rate
Sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000
About the Role
As an HGV Technician at Veolia, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring the continued delivery of essential services across the UK. Your work will involve diagnosing and repairing chassis and body systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrics, and driveline components. You will carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations, perform roadside repairs when necessary, and complete all required paperwork accurately. Working within Health & Safety regulations, you will be responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues. This role offers ongoing training and development opportunities, including support to attain your HGV licence and upskilling in various vehicle systems.

Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or HGV Technician is preferred.
Experience with diagnostics and repairs on hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, and vehicle driveline systems is advantageous.

NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent is desirable.
HGV driving licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
IRTEC licence preferred but training will be provided if required.
