About the Role

As a Wash Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our vehicle fleet by operating pressure washer machinery safely and effectively. Your responsibilities will include using degreasers and chemicals in line with health and safety risk assessments, maintaining cleaning schedules, clearing debris, and ensuring all tools and equipment are kept in good repair. You will also travel between local depots to carry out pressure washing duties and maintain wash areas to ensure safe operation at all times. Following PPE and health and safety requirements is essential, as is completing vehicle washing logs accurately. Experience
- Training or experience in the use of pressure washers is required.
- Ability to work alone and under pressure, actively seeking solutions to problems.
- Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.

About you
- Good communication skills.
- UK full driving licence (Car) is essential.
- Commitment to health and safety and following PPE requirements.
- Willingness to travel between local depots as required.

Qualifications
- Desirable qualifications include:
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
- HGV Licence
- Leadership experience
- Qualification issued by the Water Jetting Association (WJA)
