As a Multiskilled Operative, you will operate the front loading shovel and 360-degree wheeled materials handler to move, load, and transport waste safely and competently. You will operate the site weighbridge to weigh in/out approved vehicles in line with company and contractual requirements and manage weighbridge data accordingly.

You will comply with current Health and Safety legislation, site licence regulations, agreed Codes of Practice, and other statutory and legal requirements. Responsibilities include traffic management of customer vehicles and other mobile plant movements, routine maintenance of site mobile plant, weighbridge, and general site condition, as well as keeping the site clean and tidy through litter-picking and sweeping duties.

Completing related daily paperwork to the required standards and providing cover at other waste transfer stations when required will also be part of your role.

Experience
Trained and certified to operate plant equipment - Loading Shovel and 360 Handler licences are essential.
Experience with RoRo or skips and previous experience in a similar role are desirable.

Able to follow work instructions from the site supervisor/manager.
Computer literate.

Qualifications
Desirable certifications include Telehandler, FLT, and Loading Shovel licences beyond the essential ones.
