About the Role

We are looking for a committed Operations Manager to bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Environmental Managers and assisting the Collections Contract Manager to improve service levels, respond to legislative changes, and ensure Fleet and Driver compliance.

Your role will include managing frontline service operations and fleet within a high-pressure environment, delivering cost-effective services that achieve value for money. You will meet operational targets, monitor performance, suggest improvements, and take responsibility for providing solutions. Promoting a positive team environment with strong communication and morale will be key to your success.

Experience
- Proven staff management experience
- Experience managing a frontline service
- Knowledge of waste management
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and safe working practices

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
- HGV licence preferred
- O'Licence awareness (CPC qualification preferred)
