About the Role
As a Plant Supervisor, you will supervise daily operations of the Road Sweeping Plant to produce high-quality recycled products through effective decision-making and task delegation. You will ensure shift personnel perform duties efficiently and safely in compliance with company RAMS, safe systems of work, and local operating procedures. Your responsibilities include overseeing machinery and equipment cleaning programmes, conducting essential machinery and plant checks, managing waste and product flows along with associated traffic management systems, and liaising with all operational departments to organize safe collection inputs and coordinate acceptance and processing of loads. You will also coordinate the collection and delivery of end products from the Road Sweeping Plant, identify and requisition parts needed for plant maintenance and operations, and prepare and submit monthly tonnage reports. Experience
Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational environment with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to maximize throughput and output. Experience in washing/aggregate recovery operations and mobile plant operation is desirable.

About you
Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to perform effectively in highly pressurized environments. Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to coach and motivate team members. IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages and SCADA systems. Full UK driving licence essential. Loading Shovel and Tele-handler licenses desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent qualification required. Comprehensive knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working systems.
