We are currently recruiting Procurement Managers to join our infrastructure projects teams. Working within multi-sector teams, you will support procurement activities on some of the most integral projects shaping the future economy and planet. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills on projects and within the team.

The ideal candidate will be MCIPS or MRICS chartered, client focused, and confident with consultancy experience on similar projects. You will contribute to the development of Gardiner & Theobald as a business by building internal and external relationships, supporting recruitment, and assisting with work winning opportunities. You will take ownership of projects, managing junior colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery.

Requirements

Experience
- Degree qualified within a construction-related discipline
- MRICS, MCIPS or equivalent chartered status
- 5+ years leading multiple procurements of complex construction and infrastructure projects under Public Contract Regulations from early market engagement through to contract award
- Confident managing multiple projects and delivering excellent outcomes
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to recommend delivery models, routes to market, and commercial and contracting strategies aligned with client goals
- Market engagement skills to identify trends, opportunities and risks
- Experience with standard form contracts including FIDIC and NEC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Previous consultancy experience or knowledge of consultancy model preferred
- Experience managing and delegating tasks to junior colleagues while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Client focused with dedication to fostering close relationships and exceeding expectations
- Business development experience preferred

Qualifications
