About the Role
We are seeking a Project Commercial Manager (Development & Construction) to join our Commercial Management team. This pivotal role ensures the commercial success of renewable energy projects across Great Britain and Ireland. Operating within a dynamic and evolving energy market, you will lead commercial strategy across wind and hydro developments, navigating complexity and uncertainty to maximise long-term value. You will ensure strong governance, robust business cases, effective contract management, and disciplined cost and risk control throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as a trusted commercial adviser, you will influence key stakeholders and represent shareholder interests within joint venture arrangements where required.

You will lead commercial strategy by developing and implementing tailored approaches for wind and hydro projects, ensuring strong cost control, proactive risk management, and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. You will drive business case optimisation by coordinating commercial inputs, optimising CAPEX and OPEX, and identifying value enhancement opportunities in response to market and regulatory dynamics. Leading contract negotiation, placement, and administration, you will proactively identify and mitigate contractual risks while embedding lessons learned and driving performance outcomes. You will oversee commercial and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle, providing clear, insight-led analysis and strategic advice to project teams and shareholders.
