About the Role
SSEN Transmission is responsible for building and reinforcing the network infrastructure, including connecting all renewable energy generated in the North of Scotland, islands, and offshore to achieve NetZero.

Due to the continuing growth of our business and vast portfolio of projects, we have fantastic opportunities for Primavera P6 Planning Engineers to join our ever-growing team in a hybrid working role.

In this role, you will plan projects within Transmission, including producing and managing programmes with practical field experience in planning and scheduling. You will provide planning support across the full project lifecycle using Primavera P6, produce and maintain client perspective programmes that support project work processes, milestones, and deadlines.

You will liaise with project teams, contractors, site management, and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle to effectively report on project progress. Additionally, you will provide reporting and feedback to project and business group management appropriate to project needs and client requirements.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel between different SSE offices and project sites, with occasional overnight stays.

Experience
Extensive experience using Primavera P6 on large capital projects.
Desirable awareness of NEC3 Contract management or FIDIC Silver book.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
