In this role, you will support the Sales Manager with commercial business development to ensure revenue and income growth per contract specifications. You will identify and implement new opportunities to maximise income through innovative sales techniques and market expansion, deliver sales and marketing initiatives across designated borough areas, and prepare monthly performance reports including competitor analysis and change initiatives.

You will develop customer consultation programmes to assess satisfaction and review needs, provide sales and technical advice on waste management solutions, manage customer accounts ensuring compliance with waste, environmental, and licensing regulations, and build strong customer relationships through regular sales and operational meetings.

Additionally, you will manage sales targets, establish performance measures with the Sales Manager, report on new and lost business, upgrades and downgrades, and support operational reviews. Collaboration with the Sales Manager, Commercial Portfolio Manager, and client officers on marketing plans and strategic analysis will also be key to your success.

Experience
- Sales and customer service experience
- Experience developing new business and retaining existing business
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft, Google suites and CRM software

Desirable
- Previous B2B sales experience within waste or environmental management or another service industry
