Stantec’s Water division is experiencing exciting growth and is creating new opportunities across the South region and the UK. We partner with leading water clients and work on some of the largest, most iconic water projects in the industry. Our approach focuses on designing with community in mind by reducing environmental impacts and improving social outcomes. We deliver sustainable development and infrastructure projects that adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.

Within the High Wycombe, London, and Reading teams, you will support clients across Water and Wastewater treatment, Water and Wastewater networks, Storm Water overflows, and urban drainage. Our diverse pipeline includes projects spanning asset planning, strategy, concept design, outline design, and detailed design. We collaborate closely with contractor partners on major Design and Build projects.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the civil engineering design of projects, working alongside project design leads to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. You will also support the professional development of junior engineers and provide leadership within the civil engineering team. Experience
Proven design experience within the UK water industry or related sectors. Demonstrated success in project delivery and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Experience in client-facing roles, leading client engagement and collaboration regularly.

About you
Passionate about the water and environment sector with a commitment to supporting the development of junior engineers. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within project teams. Enthusiastic about innovative solutions and sustainable design.

Qualifications
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject. Ideally chartered or near chartered status with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.
