About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead the delivery of municipal waste services across one or multiple large contracts. You will manage people, sites, and resources to deliver safe, efficient services within budget and to Veolia's standards.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, members, residents, staff, and unions. You will ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and those affected by operations, maintaining compliance with Veolia requirements and relevant legislation. Accurate and transparent reporting of business performance is essential, as is driving operational efficiencies through digital tools, asset utilization, and cost control.
You will set and manage budgets, monitor monthly financial performance, and deliver contracts against required budgets and KPIs. Presenting contract reviews and monthly reports will be part of your role. Additionally, you will champion inclusion in the workplace and foster employee engagement.

Experience
- Previous contract management experience on large-scale contracts within the waste industry
- Experience working with local authorities
- Previous people management experience
- Financial and budget management experience

Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience
- Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) in Waste Management or similar qualification
