About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join us and help bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life. In this role, you will manage the delivery of municipal waste services across multiple or a single large contract, overseeing people, sites, and resources. You will ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget to Veolia's standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, members, residents, staff, and unions will be essential. You will champion safety and wellbeing, ensure compliance with legislation and company requirements, and provide clear, transparent reporting on business performance. Driving operational efficiencies through digital tools, asset utilisation, and cost control will be a key focus. You will also set and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and deliver contracts against KPIs. Promoting inclusion and employee engagement within the workplace is a vital part of this role.

Experience
- Previous experience within the waste industry
- Large scale contract management experience, preferably working with local authorities
- Previous people management experience
- Financial and budget management experience
Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience
- Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC) in Waste Management or similar qualification
