About the Role
Join AECOM’s dynamic Nature team as a Senior Ecologist and help shape the future of the environment. You will work on a diverse portfolio of ecology projects, including large infrastructure developments in energy, water, renewables, defence, and transport sectors, as well as smaller local projects. You will support the preparation of high-quality, commercially astute bids and tenders, plan and organise ecological project work, and ensure resources and budgets meet programme requirements. Your role will include delivering expert ecological consultancy and advisory services, developing pragmatic solutions to complex ecological challenges, and producing ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species licence applications. You will also author or technically review project deliverables to ensure excellence. Experience
- Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering ecological services on projects in the UK or Ireland
- Excellent field skills in at least one specialist area including protected species licences
- Experience mentoring and supporting ecology team members

Qualifications
