About the Role
The UK water sector is entering a period of unprecedented investment and transformation. Egis is rapidly expanding its Water Business in the UK and is building a high-performing Process Engineering team to help shape this next chapter. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a meaningful role in delivering major water and wastewater programmes across the UK municipal and industrial sectors. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to technically robust, sustainable, and innovative treatment solutions on nationally significant projects. This is a rare opportunity to join at a key stage of Egis’ UK growth journey, helping to establish, shape, and expand a process engineering capability built on global infrastructure expertise and a long-term commitment to the sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead defined process design tasks or work packages across feasibility, optioneering, concept, outline, and detailed design
- Prepare, check, and coordinate process deliverables including calculations, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design reports, specifications, datasheets, and schedules
- Take ownership of assigned process packages, managing technical quality, interfaces, scope, budget, programme, and change
- Lead site surveys, data reviews, process capacity assessments, and technical discussions with clients, operators, suppliers, and contractors
- Develop treatment process options and support selection of efficient, robust, and operable solutions
- Coordinate process interfaces with Mechanical, EICA, civil/structural, architectural, MEP, and construction teams
- Support HAZOP, SWIFT, DSEAR, HAC/HAP, CDM/safety-by-design reviews, commissioning strategies, and performance testing
- Apply process modelling, simulation, spreadsheets, and data analysis to improve design quality and support evidence-based decisions
- Review supplier/contractor submissions, respond to technical queries, and support construction, commissioning, and handover where required
- Mentor Engineers and Graduates and contribute to process standards, templates, and delivery improvements
