About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer within the Specification & Design function at Egis Group's Omnia Projects, you will play a pivotal role in shaping future electricity network investment projects across the distribution network. Your responsibilities will include front-end engineering, feasibility assessment, optioneering and development of EHV infrastructure projects, ensuring all schemes are technically sound, fully specified and ready for successful delivery. You will work on projects involving network reinforcement, substation asset replacement, customer connections and new infrastructure developments at Primary, Bulk Supply Point and Supply Point Substations. You will lead feasibility studies, develop technical specifications, produce project scopes and cost estimates, identify engineering risks and coordinate surveys and stakeholder inputs. Additionally, you will support business case development, ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements, provide technical guidance, engage with stakeholders and support the handover of projects to delivery teams.
