About the Role

You will work on energy performance upgrade projects, taking responsibility for the commercial control of various contracts, bids, and processes. Your role will involve identifying risks, liabilities, and commitments within contractual agreements, ensuring the commercial interests of the delivery team are protected, and leading, mentoring, and managing staff within the team. You will also be responsible for estimating and implementing effective cost control mechanisms, managing subcontract processes, leading project procurement, and providing timely management reports to the Project Manager and Senior leadership team.

Experience
Proven track record in supporting stakeholder management and problem solving. Experience working for a main contractor within the Industrial, Water, and/or Energy sectors. Multi-discipline experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry is advantageous.

About you
Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification. Thorough knowledge of forms of contract including NEC, JCT, IChemE. Previous knowledge and experience of operations and maintenance contracting are beneficial.
