About the Role
Stantec is experiencing significant growth in our water sector and we are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors, partnering with clients across the UK to exceed their expectations through technical excellence. Reporting to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, you will help develop our structural knowledge and capability, supporting opportunities beyond water and energy sectors. Your responsibilities will include structural engineering design for concrete, steel, and masonry structures, conducting structural inspections, and producing accurate reports that define asset maintenance and modification requirements to meet client and regulatory standards. Experience
Proven structural design experience with concrete, steel, and masonry structures. Good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering and awareness of other engineering disciplines to enable effective collaboration. Experience with construction methods, both temporary and permanent, and understanding of construction teams’ information requirements in design & build projects.
