In this role, you will contribute to the safe disposal of waste while maximising recycling and recovery potential, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service and expertise. You will play a pivotal role in delivering services to our customers by managing daily workloads and logistics for frontline staff and liaising directly with customers to ensure first-class service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of service delivery, including dynamic allocation of work to vehicles and routes
- Communicating with customers and stakeholders, providing status updates and maintaining contact with drivers
- Completing debriefs with frontline staff and reporting necessary actions or updates
- Face-to-face engagement with drivers to support and resolve any issues on route
- Reporting all safety concerns or container damage and encouraging 'stop the job' if unsafe to continue
- Ensuring Veolia legal compliance on-site including Working Time Directive (WTD), O'licence, and transport compliance

Requirements

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar industry such as waste, transport, or logistics
- Understanding of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Experience working with quality management systems such as ISO and managing transport compliance
- Proficient IT skills with the ability to adapt to Google operating systems

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and operate at a fast pace
- Committed to safety and compliance, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting colleagues
