40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 13:30 till 22:00 (30 minute unpaid break)

Salary
£45,500 per annum, with an annual performance bonus plus Veolia benefits and pension

About the Role

We are looking for a committed Service Delivery Manager to join our team and help bring our ambition of Ecological Transformation to life. You will organise resources including people, vehicles, and equipment to prioritise the well-being of our teams and deliver excellent service to our customers and communities. Your role will include ensuring training and competency checks are in place, monitoring operational performance, resolving complaints, and driving a first-time collection culture while meeting all contractual KPIs. You will lead your team and assets to exceed service expectations, build strong relationships with client officers and residents, and ensure operations comply with Veolia Minimum Requirements and improvement plans. Additionally, you will investigate safety incidents, underperformance, and disciplinary matters to maintain high standards across the service.

Experience
- Team leadership and management of large operative workforces
- Experience in developing and mentoring people
- Multi-faceted stakeholder relationship management including clients, contractors, and members

About you
- Committed to delivering excellent service and operational performance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage safety and disciplinary issues
- Full UK Driving Licence required

Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable)
- Waste management experience (desirable)
- HGV C1 Licence highly desirable
