£41,496 per annum with performance bonus and Veolia benefits

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations to develop a motivated team that consistently meets operational and performance objectives. You will deliver a high-profile management style to build relationships and support the team, develop strong client relationships, and ensure staffing levels and competencies are effectively managed.
Your responsibilities will include inducting new employees, ensuring appropriate use of PPE, tools, and equipment, reviewing operational data to maintain industry-leading customer service while maximising contract performance, managing people welfare, performance, attendance, disciplines, grievances, and training, meeting budget requirements, updating the Operations Manager on service and team matters, and producing written reports as requested.

Experience
- Ability to engage with local residents on collections issues and work with local clients and SAMOs on resolutions
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety in delivery and waste collections environment
- Ability to train staff on safe working practices
- Experience with SLA management and staff management including leave planning, sickness, long-term absence, discipline, and LTI's
- Ability to conduct operational checks and audits on collection teams
- Experience working with Echo, PowerBi, and AVA systems

Qualifications
- Desirable: Experience working with Local Authority clients
- Desirable: Experience with operational teams and collection & ancillary services (municipal and/or commercial)
- Desirable: Local knowledge of Camden Borough
- Desirable: HGV Licence and CPC
