About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will lead and supervise waste, facilities, and cleaning teams by allocating tasks, managing rotas, conducting meetings, supporting development, and maintaining effective communication. You will coordinate daily waste collection, segregation, processing, and storage across the site, including operating baling equipment and supporting waste vehicle loading and unloading. Oversee cleaning operations, including routine and deep cleans, unplanned activities, and ad hoc tasks, ensuring quality standards and KPIs are met. Manage health, safety, and environmental compliance by conducting inspections and audits, maintaining records, reporting incidents, and implementing corrective actions. You will also manage resources, equipment, consumables, and operational costs to ensure efficient use of personnel and supplies while identifying process improvements and cost savings. Additionally, you will liaise with clients, departments, contractors, and suppliers to manage stakeholders and contract performance, monitor KPIs, complete audits, maintain compliance records, and prepare reports.

Qualifications
GCSEs in at least four subjects including Maths and English, or equivalent, plus two A-Levels.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence is required; additional Facilities Management or related training is desirable.

Experience
Proven experience in facilities and waste management, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Experience carrying out waste and cleaning duties in production areas, maintaining facility standards and following cleaning plans and operating procedures.
Knowledge and practical experience of waste processing and recycling, including segregation, baling, and compacting; manufacturing experience is desirable.
