As a Sweeper, you will be responsible for the manual sweeping of streets and other areas including footways, alleys, subways, and around street furniture. You will ensure all Gully Grids are clear of obstructions and that sweepings are not pushed down these grids. Your duties will also include emptying litter bins, replacing liners, collecting sweeper bags from designated points, and utilising onboard technology to record task completion and report issues in real time. You will check your vehicle’s condition and roadworthiness, drive and operate Veolia vehicles after training, and maintain professional and courteous relationships with the public, clients, and colleagues. Experience
Basic understanding of Health & Safety is essential.
Previous experience working within waste management is desirable but not required.
