About the Role

In this role, you will assist the Service Delivery Manager by ensuring daily vehicle and asset checks are completed accurately, distributing worksheets, round sheets, and maps to staff, and confirming that all tools and equipment are in serviceable condition. You will investigate any accidents involving employees, vehicles, or equipment and produce the necessary documentation.

You will also undertake daily contract monitoring surveys, assist with reporting, and ensure vehicles and equipment are cleansed according to schedule. At the end of each shift, you will confirm that all staff are signed off correctly and that all paperwork is completed and returned. Additionally, you will provide cover for the Manager as required.

Experience
- Supervisory or management experience is essential.
- Experience and understanding of transport management or similar.
- Previous waste management experience is desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.

Qualifications
- HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with CPC/Tacho Card is essential.
