46 hours per week, on a rolling rota. Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off, including weekend and Bank Holiday working except December 25th, December 26th and January 1st.

About the Role

As a Weighbridge Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate vehicle weighing and compliance with weight regulations. Your responsibilities will include operating the weighbridge to weigh vehicles entering and leaving the site, maintaining detailed records of all weighing transactions, generating weight certificates or receipts, and managing data input through computer systems or manual logs. You will also perform regular equipment checks, communicate with drivers and site personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow, and uphold safety protocols in the weighbridge area. Additionally, you will compile reports for management, maintain a clean and organized weighbridge office, and ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company procedures. You will be part of a team dedicated to making a positive environmental impact while working in a supportive and inclusive culture.

Experience
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team with clear communication skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Strong attention to detail and sound organisational skills
- Strong IT skills

Desirable
- Prior experience working with weighbridges or specific weighbridge knowledge
- Experience with Elemos or other weighbridge software
- Experience in record keeping and data entry
