About the Role
Forestry England is the country’s largest land manager, dedicated to sustainable management of the nation’s forests for wildlife, people, and climate. As a Works Supervisor - Peatland, you will be managed by the Peatland Restoration Project Manager to support an ambitious DEFRA-funded peatland restoration project across the North District. Your responsibilities will include assisting with project plans, contracting, site management, and supervision. This is a fixed term appointment until 31 March 2029, with the possibility of extension. Experience
Experience in project or site management, contracting, or environmental restoration is desirable. Ability to manage and supervise field operations effectively.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in forestry, environmental science, land management, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must have the ability to communicate accurately in spoken English. Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check and government baseline personnel security standard check.
