About the Role

As a Workshop Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing Veolia fleet and third-party vehicles and plant to factory and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include performing vehicle diagnostics, conducting hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace. You will also complete all required paperwork accurately and timely, conduct HGV MOT inspections and emergency roadside repairs, and serve as the first point of contact for technicians, coordinating work allocation effectively.

Additional duties include managing contractor communications, tire services, and 4-point MOT checks, conducting weekly workshop inspections, managing job card processes, ensuring proper shift handovers, and maintaining technician productivity above 80%. You will coordinate holiday schedules, training allocation, and wash operative coverage across all depots. Experience

Qualifications
Essential:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3

Desirable:
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
- HGV Licence
- Welding/fabrication skills
- Plant/RCV experience
- IRTEC approved
- Electrical knowledge
