About the Role

You will be exposed to real projects and clients, gaining a range of experiences over the course of your 10–12-week internship or 12-month placement. Working within a global community of structural engineers, you will contribute to complex and challenging Water Structures projects for Regulated Water, Environmental, and Waterway clients. You will be supported and mentored to deliver design and collaborate with other professionals on projects ranging from £5M to £1,000M. Our excellent chartership support programme will help you progress towards becoming chartered.

Working in teams of various sizes, you will help develop first-class, digital, and sustainable solutions for our clients, gaining diverse experience on projects across the UK and Europe.

Experience
You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject such as MEng, MSc, BEng, or BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering. Experience is not mandatory but demonstrating resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork is essential.

About you
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. You should be willing to travel and stay away from home when required, although virtual working is embraced where possible. You demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.

Qualifications
Currently studying towards a relevant engineering degree (MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc) in Structural or Civil Engineering.
