About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are a global team of over 34,000 people across 30 countries dedicated to improving quality of life. As a Junior Hydrogeology Consultant, you will process data from site investigations such as groundwater levels, well pumping records, geological information, and chemical quality, as well as databases including topographic data, rainfall data, soil and land use, as required by the groundwater project lead. You will assist the project team in developing hydrogeological conceptual models for impact appraisals and translate these into 2D and 3D models. Your role will include presenting outputs using various software products including GUIs, GIS, and MS Office applications, and contributing to report production. When required, you will undertake site investigations including water feature surveys, site walkovers, drilling investigations, groundwater and surface water sampling, and pump testing. The role requires the ability to work independently, within a local office-based team, and as part of larger multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Office attendance is highly encouraged for early career professionals to build technical skills, develop relationships, and establish a support network. Good written and oral communication skills are essential.
