About the Role
Join Severn Trent and contribute to protecting the environment and enhancing the communities we serve. The role starts from home and requires travel across the region, with a balance of fieldwork and supported home working when appropriate. Key accountabilities include conducting kick-net sampling and in-situ water quality measurements (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity), identifying macroinvertebrates for RIVPACS analysis, maintaining detailed field records, preparing technical reports, collaborating with team members and stakeholders, ensuring safe fieldwork practices, and assisting with calibration and maintenance of sampling equipment. You will also provide expertise in fish identification, health, and fishery recovery. Severn Trent fosters a caring culture focused on collaboration, growth, and development, with high employee engagement scores and a commitment to flexible working.
