About the Role
At Severn Trent, we believe everyone deserves more – more care for the environment, more sustainable initiatives, and more support for the communities we serve. Our Graduate Operational and Environmental Leadership Programme is designed to develop future operational leaders and environmental specialists who will help deliver essential water services responsibly and sustainably.
This 30-month programme offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience across Customer Operations, business strategy, and performance, preparing you for a future role as an Operational Manager or Environmental Technical Specialist. You will learn how water is sourced, regulated, treated, and how waste is managed and recycled back to the environment. The programme includes three placements:
- Placement 1: 12 months gaining foundation knowledge and skills in Customer Operations.
- Placement 2: 6 months understanding business strategy and commercial drivers.
- Placement 3: 12 months buddying an experienced professional to develop your capability in your chosen career path.
You will be supported throughout by a dedicated New Talent Team, line managers, mentors, and graduate buddies. This is a chance to build a rewarding career with varied experiences, training, and development in a company ranked in the top 5% of utility companies worldwide for employee engagement and a Top 50 UK Employer on Glassdoor.
