About the Role
We are seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Manager to create, manage, develop and maintain a pipeline of purely new business opportunities to deliver profitable revenue growth within the small to medium sized customer division. This role involves managing and influencing a range of day-to-day and strategic sales issues. You will be responsible for proactively and reactively selling profitable new business within your territory to meet and exceed set KPIs and targets. Key responsibilities include managing a sales territory, creating prospect lists, reporting calls, leads, quotes and contract activity on the Company Operating System, and producing regular performance reports. You will liaise closely with the Regional Commercial Manager, Depot Manager and Regional General Manager to determine sales offensives and be the primary interface between Biffa and target customers. The role requires door-to-door sales prospecting and pricing negotiations. Experience
Proven track record in sales with consistent overachievement of sales targets. Experience generating a sales pipeline and working to 100% new business targets. Essential experience in telesales or other hunter sales-driven roles.

No specific qualifications required, however a strong sales background and a proactive attitude are essential.
