About the Role
Are you passionate about driving real change and helping teams embrace new ways of working? Join Thames Water’s Strategic Operations and Transformation team as a Change Lead, playing a pivotal role in delivering critical transformation across our core operational divisions. As we embark on a significant period of change, you will inspire buy-in, adoption, and enthusiasm for new ways of working, ensuring change sticks for the long term. You will bring deep expertise in change management, synthesising insight from diverse sources to assess complex situations and deliver guidance that supports effective decision-making. Success in this role demands a strong grasp of how change management connects with broader business functions to deliver required outcomes and benefits. Above all, you will be committed to providing the best possible experience for Thames Water colleagues during periods of significant change.

As a Change Lead, you will shape and deliver change management strategies at a programme level to enable colleagues to embrace, adopt, and use new systems, processes, and ways of working. Key responsibilities include owning and leading the change strategy for your programmes, designing and managing change deliverables such as change plans, training needs assessments, communications plans, and readiness assessments. You will identify and collaborate with Business Change Analysts and Champions, build strong internal networks, maintain relationships with internal and external teams and leaders, map change impacts and dependencies, and manage a team of Change Analysts providing coaching and development. You will manage change to scope, time, and budget within agreed tolerances or escalate as needed, facilitate engaging training and communications content, apply the AO&CD Change management playbook, and embed change management as a core lever within our Transformation approach.

Benefits
Annual leave starting at 26 days, increasing to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays), car allowance, annual bonus, generous pension scheme through AON, performance-related pay plan linked to company targets, private medical healthcare, and access to a wide range of health, wellbeing, and financial benefits including annual health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers, and life assurance.
