About the Role
Join Biffa Waste Services and be part of the team that keeps the iconic "Big Red Trucks" running across the UK. As a Chargehand Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. You will carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments. Our diverse fleet ranges from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets, providing excellent opportunities to develop and expand your technical knowledge. Experience
Fully skilled with a full Level 3 HGV/PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds qualification, or NVQ qualification at technician level.

About you
Must hold a minimum of a car/van driving licence. An HGV licence is desirable. IRTEC qualification is also desirable. You should be motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to develop your skills within a supportive and diverse team environment.

Qualifications
