About the Role
Start date on 28th June 2027, fixed term for 13 months. Join one of the UK’s largest energy producers in an exciting industrial placement within RWE Generation UK’s Operations and Maintenance group. This placement focuses on Pembroke Power Station, one of the largest and most efficient combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power stations in Europe. You will be responsible for monitoring the water/steam cycle and taking investigative action where necessary. Develop an in-depth understanding of environmental permits and undertake the monitoring required to maintain environmentally sustainable energy production. Engage in personal projects that drive continual improvement and participate in courses, workshops, and on-the-job training to support your professional growth. There may also be opportunities to collaborate with other departments, including participating in shift work with the operations team to tackle daily challenges in running a power station. Experience
Ideally pursuing a degree in Chemical and/or Environmental Engineering with an industrial placement year as part of the course. An interest in the energy sector is essential.

Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to sustainable energy production. Able to engage in collaborative work and adapt to shift patterns if required.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme that includes an industrial placement year.
