About the Role
We are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our Inventory and Supply team based at the Didcot Distribution Centre. As part of the Logistics Delivery Team, you will operate a diverse fleet including vans, 10t and 26t curtain-siders, 44t artic, and 26t HIAB vehicles. Your role will support both reactive and planned work by driving and operating heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include completing pre and post daily vehicle checks in line with legislative and company requirements, recording and reporting vehicle defects, and managing the loading, unloading, and securing of your load. This is a key role within Thames Water, contributing to the smooth delivery of essential inventory and supplies across the region.

Experience
Proven experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles and operating heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently.

About You
- Ability to work an out-of-hours rota, one week in six
- Strong understanding of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act
- Working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time Regulations
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high standards

Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Tachograph
- ADR Driver Certification is required
