About the Role
Join our Civil Engineering team as a Level 6 Degree Apprentice and gain hands-on experience while working towards your qualification. You will be involved in producing detailed drawings and technical models for key infrastructure projects such as clean and wastewater treatment works, high-capacity pumping stations, and resilient pipeline networks. You will be trained in industry-standard software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS to accurately map, model, and visualize engineering solutions. Your work will contribute to innovative and sustainable projects that reduce environmental impact and future-proof water supplies, including flood risk reduction schemes and Nature-based Solutions. You will assist Senior Engineers throughout the project lifecycle and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and innovative solutions for our clients.

Requirements

Experience
Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining practical experience in civil engineering design and project delivery. Enthusiasm for learning and teamwork is essential.

About You
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A keen interest in civil engineering and sustainable infrastructure solutions is important. You should be motivated to develop your skills and contribute to innovative projects.

Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSEs in Mathematics and English at grade 5 or 6 (B) or above
Desirable:
- A Levels with grades BBC including Mathematics at grade B or above
- BTEC in Mathematics with Merit or above
Other relevant qualifications and industry experience are welcomed and the apprenticeship can be tailored to reflect your existing knowledge.
