About the Role
As an Electrical Technician at Veolia, you will play a key role in driving innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical assets across the plant, including fault finding, installing, and maintaining electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include working at height on control systems for overhead cranes and boiler systems, assisting during major maintenance periods such as shutdowns and outages to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency, and diagnosing PLC and control wiring faults on rotating plant including motor-driven fans, guide vane actuation, and pumps. You will apply problem-solving techniques to diagnose, remedy, and report plant defects, proposing improvements to the Electrical Engineer. Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMS and assisting with coaching apprentices to ensure they gain appropriate exposure and experience are also key parts of this role.

Experience
Time served as an Electrical Maintenance Technician with competence in three-phase and single-phase power, control circuits, and equipment fault finding.
Proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
Experience within a Waste, Recycling, Power, or Process plant facility is essential.
Competent IT user.
Excellent Health and Safety awareness.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is essential.
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification required.
