About the Role
The role involves supporting various projects with on-site compliance, customer reporting needs, and seeking and implementing innovation where feasible while supporting the roll-out of the business-wide long-term sustainability goals. You will be required to cover projects across multiple locations including London, Essex and Kent. Key responsibilities include managing environmental risks and opportunities, implementing project sustainability plans, applications for consents, licences and permits, environmental data validation and analysis, providing technical advice, conducting planned and unplanned inspections, delivering environmental guidance and training, investigating environmental incidents, reporting against environmental KPIs, collaborating with the wider team, and mentoring or managing others.

Experience
- Experience in UK flood and coastal works
- Experience in delivering ambitious sustainability goals
- Practical application of ISO 14001, including risk and opportunity assessment and environmental controls
- Working knowledge of environmental legislation
- Knowledge of key environmental sustainability data types used for measuring performance
About You
- UK Driving Licence required
- CTC security clearance is required, which can be arranged with the relevant operational team

- Preferably educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline
