About the Role
Join AECOM’s award-winning Soil, Groundwater and Remediation Team and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes across a broad range of sectors including industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, land development, ports, road, and rail. Your responsibilities will include delivering Phase 1 environmental assessments, ground investigations, and routine monitoring tasks. You will manage projects independently, ensuring technical quality, budget control, and programme adherence. The role involves supporting fee proposal preparation and managing projects from desk study and feasibility through to site investigations, data interpretation, remediation design, and delivery. This position offers an excellent platform to develop both technical and commercial skills while working on large infrastructure projects alongside longstanding clients. Experience
- Hands-on experience with field investigations including site management, drilling supervision, groundwater and ground gas sampling, and supervision of remediation activities.
- Good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.
- Development of conceptual site models and qualitative risk assessment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise technical reports.

Qualifications
- Ideally an undergraduate degree in an environmental, science, or engineering-based subject.
