About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life. Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Graduates are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and support their development.
As an engineer joining GROW, you will specialise within your chosen engineering discipline and gain the appropriate experiences needed to become a technical expert. Being an Engineer at Arcadis means applying a human filter to your technical expertise and training, making an impact through innovation and creativity. During this programme, you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques applicable to clients in the UK and potentially internationally.
Our inclusive and diverse Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation team works across a broad spectrum of UK and international projects and industrial sectors. This offers variation in work, experience, and challenges within Building Services. Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineers are involved in the design of all aspects from electrical distribution and motor control, through to instrumentation, industrial control, and automation. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, designing energy efficient electrical systems, renewable energy systems, and their integration.
Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree. You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
About you
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. You are willing to travel and stay away from home when required, although virtual working is embraced where possible.
Qualifications
Accepted degrees include MEng Electrical Engineering (preferred). We will also consider applicants with master's-level degrees that include significant electrical engineering content, such as Combined Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
