This role is ideal for a motivated Electrical Engineering graduate with a strong interest in PV and heat pump systems.
What You Will Do
• Assist in the design of electrical systems for solar PV, heat pumps, MVHR and battery storage
• Support preparation of electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Carry out load calculations and system sizing under supervision
• Attend site surveys and project meetings
• Support compliance checks against BS 7671, Building Regulations and MCS standards
• Learn DNO processes including G98 and G99 grid connections
Essential
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Understanding of electrical principles and UK regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to attend the North London / Hertfordshire office at least 2 days per week
Desirable
• Academic or project experience relating to renewable energy systems
• Awareness of PV, heat pump or battery storage technologies
• Interest in long term career progression within renewable system design
