About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people in more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life. Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Graduates are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and development. As an engineer on the GROW programme, you will specialise within your chosen discipline and gain the experiences needed to become a technical expert. This role involves applying a human filter to your technical expertise, making an impact through innovation and creativity. You will develop core engineering and consulting techniques applicable to clients in the UK and internationally.
Arcadis has a global community of structural engineers working on complex and challenging Water Structures for Regulated Water, Environmental and Waterway clients. You will be supported and mentored to deliver design and collaborate with other professionals on projects ranging from £5M to £1,000M. We offer an excellent programme to support you in becoming chartered. Working in teams of various sizes, you will help develop first-class, digital and sustainable solutions for our clients, gaining a wide variety of experience on projects across the UK and Europe.
Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree. Experience working on projects or internships related to structural or civil engineering is advantageous but not essential.
About you
You demonstrate resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and are a strong team player. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. You are willing to travel and stay away from home when required, although virtual working is embraced where possible.
Qualifications
Accepted degrees include MEng, MSc, BEng or BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering. You should be committed to developing your professional skills and progressing towards chartership.
