About the Role
At WSP, you can shape a career as unique as you. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in groundwater and water environment Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to lead technically complex projects across the UK and internationally. You will apply your hydrogeological knowledge across groundwater assessment, conceptualisation, modelling, Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessment, and wider water environment disciplines, supported by a national team of over 350 specialists. We offer flexible and hybrid working with multiple UK office locations.
You will lead major infrastructure EIA and groundwater investigations, guiding technical inputs for nationally significant projects including planning and Development Consent Order (DCO) submissions for sectors such as energy, water, transport, and power. You will shape WSP’s groundwater and water EIA capability by influencing how assessments are delivered across groundwater, WFD, hydrogeology, peatland, water resources, and environmental permitting. Working collaboratively within a highly skilled national team, you will have access to some of the most exciting infrastructure portfolios in the UK. Additionally, you will mentor and develop junior colleagues and help strengthen senior technical capability within the team.
This role offers flexible locations and career pathways with growth opportunities across multiple UK offices.
