About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Group Reporting Accountant to join our dedicated and talented finance team on a 6-month temporary contract. This role requires a "roll up sleeves" approach and someone who can make a meaningful impact. You will be primarily responsible for preparing our consolidated monthly financial results, ensuring the Board receives accurate, insightful, and timely information to support their decision making.
Your key responsibilities will include the preparation of the monthly consolidated cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement; reviewing and challenging inputs from finance teams for results, forecasts, and budgets; posting adjustments through journals on behalf of the Group; performing month-end controls including balance sheet (payroll and intercompany) and system reconciliations; managing accounting for central cost centres including transformation activities; providing guidance and training to Finance on reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes and systems; reviewing and challenging the monthly Board report; supporting the external reporting team with year-end accounts and audit delivery; and supporting projects within Group Finance across transformation, technical accounting, systems, and fixed assets.

Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong accounting background
- Experience in external financial reporting
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team towards common objectives under tight deadlines
- Experience using company IT systems such as SAP and HFM is desirable
