About the Role
Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking. This is a physically demanding role, requiring you to be comfortable working outdoors all year round and in all weather conditions. You will need to be proactive, able to use your own initiative and lead teams effectively. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive difference to the local environment and communities.

Experience
Previous experience driving LGV vehicles is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

About you
You should be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. You must be reliable, motivated, able to work well within a team and demonstrate leadership qualities. A positive attitude towards health and safety and a commitment to delivering excellent service to the community are essential.

Qualifications
A valid LGV Class 2 driving licence is required for this role. Additional qualifications related to waste collection or street cleansing are advantageous but not mandatory.
