About the Role
Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking. This role is ideal if you enjoy working outdoors, using your own initiative, and leading teams. You will make a positive difference to the local environment and communities.

Experience
Experience driving LGV waste collection vehicles is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.

About you
You will have good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude. A good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations is important. You should be able to work well within a team and take initiative when required.

Qualifications
Full, valid UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
Valid Driver CPC qualification and Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
Digital tachograph card, where required for the role.
