About the Role
Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes, and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking. This role is ideal if you enjoy working outdoors, using your own initiative, and leading teams. You will play a key part in making a positive difference to the local environment and communities.

Experience
- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Qualifications
