Experience
Previous LGV Class 2 driving experience is required. Previous skip or bulker driving experience is desirable but not essential.
About you
You must have a strong commitment to health and safety, following all company procedures and safe working practices. Good communication and customer service skills are essential when dealing with customers and colleagues. You should be able to work independently, manage your workload, and follow a planned route. A flexible, reliable approach with good timekeeping is required. You must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and undertake manual handling duties where required.
Qualifications
A valid UK Category C (LGV Class 2) driving licence is essential. A valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required. You must have a good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation. A maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence, with no current disqualifications, is in line with company policy. The ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly is also necessary.
