£26,769 per annum plus overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate

About the Role
Help us make a difference as a Mobile Plant Operative. You will be directly responsible for the safe and proper operation and maintenance of site vehicles under your use. This is a multi-task role involving receiving and directing waste, loading RDF and commodity bales, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping. Preventative maintenance and defect reporting are key functions to ensure timely servicing and upkeep of vehicles. Core responsibilities include performing daily equipment checks, completing daily report forms including mileage and service records, operating with diligence to ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety standards, controlling waste at the point of unloading, cleaning the working area inside and outside the cab, and promptly informing the shift leader about any accidents or unsuitable waste.

Experience
Experience working in Waste Management, Warehousing, or Construction environments is essential. Mechanical knowledge and experience operating and maintaining mobile plant equipment are required. Previous operation of FLT, loading shovel, or 360 machinery is necessary. A full driving licence is mandatory.

Qualifications
A full driving licence is required. Relevant mechanical and mobile plant operation experience is expected.
